It was a pleasure for our Carnival Princess Eva to attend the Mayor's Charity Dinner in March. On behalf of the Carnival Association our young representative presented a bouquet of flowers to the Mayor to thank her for her kind support of the Association during her year in office.

Christmas is always a very busy time of year, but one of the highlights in our Royal Family's calendar is being involved in the town celebrations. This year, our little Rosebud Evie was on hand to give out mince pies to the crowd and support the Mayor when she turned on the Christmas lights. Evie had a lovely time, but sadly Princess Eva was poorly, so had to miss the celebrations.

As we joined with our community on Remembrance Sunday and Armistice Day, we remembered those who paid the ultimate price in human conflict and prayed for peace in the world. Lest we forget.
