Being a member of the Royal Family is so much more than just Carnival Day—it's about proudly representing the Carnival Association at various Town events and playing a crucial role in raising funds for future Carnivals. Our Carnival royals had an absolutely amazing time doing just that at the Friends Of The Ffrith Family Fun Day! Princess Eva even fitted in time for an ice cream !!

Prestatyn Carnival Association is proud to welcome our new Carnival Queen, Miss Emily Rose Sullivan, Carnival Princess Miss Eva Jane Griffiths, and Carnival Rosebud Miss Melody Grainger. Crowned by the Mayor of Prestatyn and Meliden, Councillor Anton Sampson on Carnival Day, our new representatives are looking forward to representing our town for the next twelve months. Congratulations girls - enjoy your year and make magical memories to last a lifetime.

On Saturday, 18th July, Prestatyn celebrated its 105th Carnival Day with a burst of joy and community spirit! The vibrant parade, led by the Knights Of Snowdon Corps of drums, danced through the town centre, heading to the Carnival field, where an array of free fantastic family entertainment awaited on a bustling Carnival field.

It was a pleasure for our Carnival Princess Eva to attend the Mayor's Charity Dinner in March. On behalf of the Carnival Association our young representative presented a bouquet of flowers to the Mayor to thank her for her kind support of the Association during her year in office.

Christmas is always a very busy time of year, but one of the highlights in our Royal Family's calendar is being involved in the town celebrations. This year, our little Rosebud Evie was on hand to give out mince pies to the crowd and support the Mayor when she turned on the Christmas lights. Evie had a lovely time, but sadly Princess Eva was poorly, so had to miss the celebrations.

As we joined with our community on Remembrance Sunday and Armistice Day, we remembered those who paid the ultimate price in human conflict and prayed for peace in the world. Lest we forget.

Massive thank you to our little Rosebud Evie for lending a hand during school half term, selling Poppies in Tesco for the RBL Poppy Appeal.

Earlier this year, alongside our Vice Chair, Toby Fagan, our Carnival Princess, Eva, participated in Civic Sunday at Christ Church Prestatyn. Eva would especially like to express her gratitude to Prestatyn Town Council for the invitation and for the delightful tea and cake served in the Church Hall following the service.
