  • Prestatyn Carnival Association is pleased to announce that its annual Christmas Shop Window competition will be held on Saturday 15th December.

  • Mayor of Prestatyn, Councillor Anton Sampson, has announced the theme for the Best Entry in 2019 Grand Carnival Day parade as IT'S ONLY ROCK N' ROLL. In choosing his theme, Councillor Sampson said he wanted to find something which was easy to relate to and would bring even more fun to the event.

  • Prestatyn Carnival AG.M. will be held at the Lyons Nant Hall Hotel on Monday 19th November at 7.30pm.

  • Prestatyn Carnival Representatives for 2018-19 are Carnival Princess, Miss Daisy Portlock and Carnival Rosebud Miss Lauren Radcliffe

  • The Mayor's Theme award for Best Entry in the Carnival Parade on Saturday 21st July 2018 is "Life On The Ocean Wave."  Once again this is kindly sponsored by Prestatyn Town Council.  First Prize: £100   Second Prize: £50   Third Prize: £25.  This year's theme was chosen specifically to link with Visit Wales "Year of the Sea" in 2018.

  • 2017-18 Carnival Representatives Crowned.

  • Prestatyn Carnival Association's 2016 Annual Most Imaginatively Decorated Christmas Shop Window competition, for town centre shops took place on Wednesday 22nd December. Winners were:

  • The Rotary Club of Prestatyn support Prestatyn Carnival by donating £250.

Previous winner was the Central Beach Club, Prestatyn, pictured at last year's carnival receiving the Mayor's Cup from Cllr. Bob Paterson. The Mayor's Theme is kindly sponsored by Prestatyn Town Council. First Prize: £100; Second Prize: £50; Third Prize: £25.

  • Batala confirmed to appear at Prestatyn Carnival 2016.

Come wind, rain or shine, Batala will be back to help celebrate our 95th Carnival in Prestatyn.

  • New Carnival representatives elected.

At our recent Selection event, the following children from our town were elected to serve as our 2016-17 representatives. Carnival Queen: Alys Jones; Carnival Princess: Pheobe Woosnam; Prince: Connor Dean; Rosebud: Lana-Jo Finnan; Queen's Court: Rhian Maler (Lady-in-waiting); Lilly Woosnam (Crown bearer); Alyssa Dean; Gwen Scourfield (Ladies of the Court).

Prestatyn Carnival Association is pleased to announce the date of this year's Selection is SUNDAY 24th APRIL at 2pm, KING'S HALL COMMUNITY CENTRE, PRESTATYN. 
(Contestants must live in or attend school in Prestatyn, and be aged between 5-15 years). There
are competitions for both girls and boys. Anyone interested should call Joy on 07878 326874.

  • Date for Carnival Day 2016 confirmed as Saturday 23rd July. Parade starts at 12 noon at the top of High Street.

  • Little Loco Thomas confirmed to appear at the 2016 Carnival.

  • The Mayor's Theme for Carnival Day 2016 is "Music from the 20s to the Noughties."
