Q.  Where does the parade start?
A.  The top of Prestatyn High Street on Saturday 22nd July.

Q.  What time does the parade start?
A.  12 noon approx.

Q.  How do I take part in the parade?
A.  Report to the direction steward at Bodnant Community School in Nant Hall Road between 10.30 & 11.15am.

Q.  Does it cost to take part in the parade?
A.  No. Entry is free. A small charge of either £2 or £5 is payable if you enter a parade competition.

Q.  What is the Mayor's Theme for 2017?
A.   This will be announced later in the year.

Q.  During the parade, can I collect for my own charity, group or organisation?
A.  No. Our licence from Denbighshire County Council only allows you to collect for us in our own                 Association tins.

Q.  Where do I get a collecting tin from?
A.  You will be issued with an official collecting tin when you report for parade entry. It will be collected on the field.

Q.  Is there a charge to enter the carnival field, and when does it open to the public?
A.  No, none whatsoever. Entry is free to all, unless you have booked a stall. The field opens at 10am.

Q.  Do you allow dogs on the carnival field?
A.  Yes, but they MUST be kept on a lead, and owners MUST clean up any doggy mess.

Q.  How do I book a stall on the carnival field?

Q.  As a stall holder, what time can I arrive on the carnival field?
A.  You need to arrive at the field between 7am and 10.30am. You will be directed to your position.

Q.  I would like to perform or entertain on the carnival field. How do I arrange this?

Q.  Is there anywhere to park my car?
A.  On site parking is available for £1 per car. Designated free parking is available for all performers & stall holders.

Q.  Is there a charge to enter the Fancy Dress competition?
A.  Yes. £2 per class per entry.

Q.  Is there a charge to enter the Baby Show?
A.  Yes. £2 per class per entry.

Q.  What time does the Fairground open and close on Carnival Day?
A.  It opens at 11am approx, remaining open until 8pm appox.

Q.  What happens if it rains?
A.  We will all get wet ! Events will proceed as normal, if at all possible. Cancellation is virtually unheard of,         though certain field events may be curtailed or cancelled if the ground is waterlogged beyond our control.
